"The illustrations presented by the artist make you feel that, at first glance, you are in front of an integrated text that has been skillfully distributed through the composition of the pages. The artist was able to tightly control the technique of her work, and while the illustrations appear dark, they contain a lot of kindness. The artist succeeded in blending manual and digital work in one integrated whole. The artist has combined many elements within her illustrations, which gives these illustrations richness, especially with the intentional austerity of color that dominates the illustrations in general. In these illustrations, we find strangeness and magic strongly present, while the character leads us to the world of the story little by little. We find that in these illustrations, she carries a delicate sensitivity, great celebration of detail, and the ability to employ contrast between strict and flat lines and soft shapes. She also succeeded in creating harmony between all the elements that make up these illustrations, which are full of size diversity and rich in many shapes." - Report of the Jury
